The ideal candidate should possess:
Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and /or a Business Management
Minimum three (3) years work experience in business development, a related sales position or any equivalent combination of training, professional certificates and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
Excellent in MS Office Suite
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be required to:
Regular visits to clients at their projects sites and head offices locally and regionally.
Identify, qualify, cultivate and exploit potential sales and project opportunities both locally and regionally to meet/exceed PSL’s financial target and supplier quota.
Perform market surveys, develop business plans, develop and add to existing account/client profiles, develop and maintain active pipelines throughout the region. Work with existing accounts to maintain value and profitability.
Properly engage prospects and manage the relationship from initial discussions to post sale/implementation support. Lead Pre-sales process, qualification, proposal development, contract negotiations, pricing templates and customer follow up.
Keep accurate sales forecasts and complete reports using PSL’s reporting tools in addition to providing quarterly reports to respective suppliers.
Actively promote the Company’s Fire & Gas, Security and BMS product lines which includes presentations.
Engage in marketing efforts (social media, website presence, advertising, article writing).
Coordinate with the Product Line Manager and Engineering & Service Manager to achieve/exceed the client/customer service satisfaction goals of PSL and provide relevant information that would feed into the financial planning of these departments.
Must possess a good working vehicle
Must be willing to travel regionally and/or internationally
